Fireball 02:47
To the streets and my mind's wheel turning Mental monkey wrench under my hood Feel the lightness of the ground beneath me And hear the engine sound far too good Skipping across the pavement like throwing stones Four circle hands to catch the ground And steer myself to brighter places And find myself an unfamiliar crowd But I really wanna jerk the wheel I'm gonna fall Fireball My eyes are blinking every loss of control Engine beating like a steel alarm clock And feel the veil of temptation over me And fear my actions in my state of shock Now the moments pass in slow motion Tension finds in me its fill And never blink for a second now And squeeze the wheel even tighter still But I really wanna jerk the wheel I think I'm gonna do it Just close my eyes and do it I'm gonna fall Fireball Single turn Crash and burn I'm gonna fall Fireball

Wallydrag 06:33
On my face, you can see The damage it's done in me The pain of longing and my chest pulling me apart Not the best To come so close, enough to touch But failure means so so much All of my days and all of my mind But regret is far too unkind In the passion of the morning sky I'm still compelled to try People I know fear's just a wall But fate's hand still controls us all
3.
Goodness 11:00
Goodness, come wash over me And love like brass rings and everything What will be, and then we'll be Goodness, come wash over me
4.
Envelope 04:41
You're a little caterpillar aren't you In your cocoon among the stars I could all but make you out, from the plateaus of Mars With my rose-colored looking glass I could chart your descent to right-brained naiveté To think you think you can fly Butterfly, you know if kills me to see you try Oh, to fold one-thousand cranes And fly them all to me The words they hit my brain like a bullet Spoken at the threshold of a whisper, "don't leave" One-thousand words painting a pretty crazy picture You unleash tumbling waves, when you speak You say, "I want you to explore"
5.
Silly World 02:14
Silly, silly world, you're so funny to me But it's all okay, okay I can pick myself up Silly, silly world Make me laugh at myself, okay Silly, silly world, I won't breathe a word You're so beautiful and I'm so small Wouldn't speak out against silly, silly world Not against you at all This day, I feel, is splintering more and more With this reality crashed upon, I'm giving way Gotta get away, get away from me today Get away
6.
Ecstatic Hum 02:17
Ecstatic hum Fall on deaf ears Marches time We are leaving You are conscious In the midst of noise Silence Bringing unnervedness Straight from your speakers To god's ear Sing of the equation The sacramental act The transmutation From thought to sound to thought Abstract connection Communion Seduction Anointed Bathed in sound The channel is open, descend Upon us Kindred sister She is here with us Tonight
7.
Blanket Me 08:15
How can I call you beautiful When days on end Leave you in tarnished perfection To touch you is not enough I would swim through you if I could Disappear in rusty red, crinkly brown In the fall of the year My mind is blown away With rusty leaves, down painted streets I could stay with you a while Root myself beside With arms enough to embrace the sky Pull my coat about my neck And buckle my arms around And lay content until you blanket me
8.
Your face is stained with fingerprints in red Gonna get that son of a bitch, in the end You know it's not the hurt that brings you down But this abuse is gonna run you into the ground And I was thinking the same thought the other day And maybe you and I should run away Say goodbye to your mom and dad, we're gonna leave today, Say goodbye while you're still gone mad, we're gonna leave today And we were making good time down the road we sped A million thoughts all shifting through my head Her hair was jumping in and out of the car And I was wondering where the hell we are We were all too content to follow the sun The cities rise and fall in slow motion The open road was just the place to be So we took that thought straight to the sea
9.
Blink 11:34
Morning's drowsy sky stares down one starry eye And golden threads of dawn sew my eyes to sleep And I'd disappear for you, if you'd just blink your eyes Helplessly fixed between the stare of each eye And so the day would slow, into reluctant returns And black hair seemed to stream down your face, eyes immersed And time instructs me so, "just blink your eyes" Momentary lapse of linearity, at the blink of my My mind is racing now, over the template of the Earth, at such a speed I'm losing others like myself, passing through filters Searing through psychological constructs, I come down crashing and skipping I am a box kite, tied to the core of the Earth I am the new year's dragon, singing my song sweetly I dance overhead

about

Unmastered and unreleased songs, recorded to 8-track 1/2" reel-to-reel tape, between 1995 and 1996, featuring some of the best written material to date.
